1.Overviews
In the process of the train running, the air valve (see fig 1) as part of the power source, it also bears the high temperature and high pressure alternating load and in use process, it is extremely easy to produce fatigue crack.
 
In recent years, advanced vortex detection technology is used for testing valve by the units such as Beijing railway bureau, Taiyuan railway bureau, Nanning railway bureau, Wulumuqi railway bureau and a good effect is obtained.

2.Technological advantage
1)Fast detection speed.  When vortex testing, special treatment of part surface does not be need, also the coupling agent. You only need to place the valve on the turntable and rotate it a circle, the detection is completed
2)High defect detection sensitivity.  Vortex has high sensitivity for defect detection of part surface and near surface.
3) Easy to handle.  The detection process is built-in instrument, before using, the operator does not need to be trained for long time. The instrument can alarm automatically according to vortex signal, and reduce the influence of human factors.
4)Test results can be long-term preserved.  also printed out by printer, and can be transmitted to the computer for later analysis processing, to realize digital management.
