Seminar for Non-Destructive Testing for Aircraft Maintenance held in Beijing

On 13th Oct 2016, Seminar for Non-Destructive Testing for Aircraft Maintenance was held in Beijing, hosted by Civil Aviation Maintenance Association of China.

Mr Lin Junming, deputy director of the Chinese Society of NDT, president of Eddysun, was invited to give a talk on the topic of “from testing to monitoring – status quo and future of NDT”. In the report, status quo and future of NDT in China was introduced, followed by proposal to construct cloud NDT for structural health in aviation industry, combining Internet, data with cloud testing and establishing full life cycle monitoring system for aviation. Conventional practice with manual and on-site inspection will eventually become the past. The report gave rise to heated discussion among the experts, many showing great interest in the proposed future of NDT.
